Andie Ang

Chairperson of the Raffles’ Banded Langur Working Group
Location: Singapore

Andie Ang travels the world to study primates and manages an online resource, Primate Watching, which she updates with knowledge she has gained from local communities, travellers and, of course, the primates themselves. The 33-year-old primatologist also travels around the region to study endangered monkeys, and is working to raise awareness of Singapore's native wildlife as the vice president of the Jane Goodall Institute (Singapore). Her current goal is to celebrate the Raffles' banded langur, a rare species discovered by Sir Stamford Raffles in Singapore nearly two centuries ago.
