This orange cornmeal cake provides the best of two delicious and popular cakes!


  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of oil

  • 1/2 cup sweet cassava starch

  • 1/2 cup (tea) grated coconut

  • 1 tablespoon cake yeast

  • 1 cup of mimoso cornmeal

  • 1 cup of orange juice

  • 1 cup (tea) sugar

Preparation mode

  • Add the eggs, sugar, oil to the blender and blend for 2 minutes.
  • Add the orange juice, grated coconut, sweet cassava starch, mimoso cornmeal and mix well.
  • Turn on the blender and blend for 2 minutes. Add the yeast and beat until homogenized.
  • Pour all the dough into a greased and floured pan.
  • Bake for about 35 minutes in the preheated oven at 180°₢.
  • Cut the pieces after cooling and the cake is ready to serve.
