It seems that ASX, Australia’s largest stock exchange, could not remain indifferent to Bitcoin spot ETFs. According to news from US media Bloomberg, the $2.7 trillion ASX exchange will list many Bitcoin spot ETFs by the end of this year.

New applications are also coming

As it is known, Bitcoin and Ether spot ETFs can be bought and sold in Australia on the CBOE Australian exchange since 2022. Currently, only Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs of Global The companies include Australia-based BetaShares and DigitalX.

The ASX exchange manages approximately 80% of the share market in the country. Most of the transactions are carried out through this exchange. So the arrival of Bitcoin spot ETFs on the ASX will drive a massive liquidity shift into this space.

An ASX spokesperson who spoke to The Block on the subject merely said, “We are continuing to negotiate with some companies that have issued or will issue ETFs” and did not provide details.

Bitcoin spot ETFs, which opened for trading in the USA on January 11, received a total investment of 53 billion dollars. Bitcoin and Ether spot ETFs will begin listing in Hong Kong tomorrow.
