Chun-Han Yang is currently studying at the National Taiwan University of Sport. Since he won gold in the 100 and 200 metres at the National High School Games in 2012, he has achieved excellent results in track and field events at home and abroad thanks to years of solid and steady training. He is reputed to be the “fastest man in Taiwan” and currently holds the national record in the 100 metres. He performed even more impressively in 2017 when he took the gold medal in the 200 meters with a record-breaking result at the National Intercollegiate Athletic Games. He won Taiwan a bronze medal after 30 years in the 100 metres at the 2017 Asian Athletics Championships, and also won the first men’s gold medal for Taiwan in the 200 metres. He took home a gold medal in the 100 meters at the 2017 Universiade. Though Chun-Han only won a silver medal in the 200 meters at the 2018 Asian Games, he was not discouraged and has his sights set on the Asia Championships and World Championships in Qatar.
