Christopher Wylie, the pink-haired data scientist at the heart of the Cambridge Analytica scandal that rocked the world, will join one of the founding fathers of the internet, Jimmy Wales, at our virtual event Gen.T Stream on October 23.
Focused on the theme “Creating Social Impact in a Post-Covid World”, the event will unpack some of the most important questions we're facing at this unique moment in history. The pandemic has helped us realise that the way we lived for decades was unsustainable and unjust. The question that now remains: where do we go from here?
Wales and Wylie are both advocates for the positive role that technology can play. The session, which begins at 9am Hong Kong time, will be focused on the soutions: what actionable steps can we take to forge a more equitable and more sustainable future post-pandemic?
