Originally a home tutor, Ray Lu decided to use digital videos and resources to plug the gaps he observed in the K-12 education system. This led to the opening of Junyi Academy, a cloud platform that integrates AI, big data and smart software to provide high-quality educational opportunities free of charge. Junyi Academy is the first Taiwanese organisation to receive a two-year US$1 million grant from Google.
