Ingredients

  • 1 cup of tapioca gum (granulated tapioca)

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 tablespoon of butter

  • 1 ovo

Preparation mode

  • In a pan, heat the milk along with butter and salt until it begins to boil.
  • In a bowl, add the tapioca gum and pour the hot milk on top. Mix well, letting the tapioca moisturize for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the grated cheeses and mix again.
  • Add the egg and mix until it forms a homogeneous mass. It must be firm enough to shape, but still damp.
  • Preheat the oven at 180 ° C and grease a baking dish.
  • With your hands, make small balls with the dough and arrange them in the baking dish, leaving space between them.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the breads are golden.
