The 9th edition of Expo Elevador, the main fair in the sector in Latin America, will take place from May 6 to 8 at Pro Magno Event Center, in São Paulo, with a strong international presence – especially from Chinese companies. More than 100 national and international exhibitors are confirmed, highlighting brands such as WEG, Prysmian and Schmersal.
With estimates of moving $ 10 billion a year, the Brazilian elevators market attracts manufacturers, automakers, maintenance companies, builders and universities. The fair will present the latest innovations in artificial intelligence, internet of things and technologies focused on efficiency and autonomy.
According to Edilberto Cardoso de Almeida, director of the organizer of Expo Elevator, factors such as the Minha Casa Minha Vida program, population aging and accelerated urbanization boost the sector. He also points out that about 60% of the elevators in use in the country need modernization, which represents a great business opportunity.
The program includes security discussions, project failures and maintenance, as well as a parallel event, the smart building connection focused on building automation. The seminar will have names such as Chao Lung Wen, a reference in Telehealth, and Cesar Ribeiro, specialist in Energy Management. Access is free for the fair’s visitors.
