The three astronauts aboard China’s Shenzhou-18 spacecraft entered the country’s space station and met up with another trio of astronauts this Friday, beginning a new round of crew transition into orbit.

The Shenzhou-17 crew opened the hatch at 5:04 am (Beijing time). The three occupants of the space station greeted the new arrivals and took group photos.

The space reunion of the two crews kicked off the fourth crew rotation in orbit on China’s space station.

According to the China Manned Space Agency, the six astronauts will live and work together for about 5 days to complete planned tasks and transition work.
