Ideal to accompany coffee and tea, this Pullman cake is simple and easy to prepare!


  • 3 eggs

  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine

  • 2 cups (tea) cornstarch

  • 1 cup (tea) sugar

  • 1/4 cup of milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon cake yeast

  • Vanilla essence to taste and optional

Preparation mode

  • In a mixer add the eggs, sugar, butter or margarine and beat for about 4 minutes.
  • Gradually add the cornstarch while mixing the ingredients with the whisk.
  • When the dough becomes heavier, add the milk and continue mixing well.
  • Add the vanilla essence, yeast and mix until homogenized.
  • Pour the dough into an English cake pan greased with butter or margarine and flour.
  • Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 180º₢ for approximately 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Wait for the cake to cool before unmolding it and it is ready to serve.
