Syrup Ingredients

  • 1 cup (tea) of water

  • 1 cup (tea) sugar

  • Dough Ingredients
  • 3 eggs

  • 6 bananas

  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour

  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

  • 1 tablespoon cake yeast

  • 1 cup (tea) sugar

  • 1 cup of milk (tea)

Preparation mode

  • Place 1 cup of sugar in a mold, place over low heat and wait for it to melt.
  • Add the water and heat until the sugar melts again and forms a caramelized syrup. Turn off the heat and set aside.
  • In a container add the eggs, 1 cup of sugar, butter or margarine and mix well.
  • Add the sifted wheat flour and milk little by little, alternating both while mixing.
  • Add the yeast and mix well until it dissolves and the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
  • Cut the bananas in half from one end to the other and place them next to each other in the caramelized pan.
  • Pour the dough on top, spread it well with a spoon and bake in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for around 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Wait for the banana pie to cool before unmolding it and it is ready to eat.
