European scholarships open in the “green” despite some fear of exemptions to “chips”

European scholarships opened the week in “green,” driven by the positive negotiation of US stock market contracts, although in the markets, some fear and confusion about eventual tariff exemptions persist in the chips.

The German Index DAX 40 is advancing more than 2%, the same as the index that follows the main companies in the Paris Stock Exchange. In Lisbon, PSI advances 1.3% a few minutes after opening.

US President Donald Trump said on Sunday he would announce the tariff about imported semiconductors next week, adding that there would be flexibility with some companies in the sector. This indication means that the exclusion of smartphones and computers from their “reciprocal tariffs” against China will probably last shortly.
