  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tablespoons of milk (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon of butter or olive oil

  • Additional ingredients to taste (cheese, tomato, onion, pepper, ham, etc.)

Preparation mode

  • If you are adding ingredients like onions, peppers, tomatoes, etc., chop them into small pieces.
  • In a bowl, beat the eggs. If using milk, add it to the eggs and beat until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Heat the butter or olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
  • Pour the beaten eggs into the heated frying pan.
  • Let cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until the eggs are almost set on top and golden underneath.
  • If using additional ingredients such as cheese, ham, vegetables, etc., add them to half the eggs in the skillet.
  • Using a spatula, fold the other half of the eggs over the additional ingredients, forming the omelet.
  • Let it cook for a few more seconds to melt the cheese, if using.
  • Transfer the omelet to a plate and serve hot.
