This sweaty cornmeal from Minas Gerais combines flavor and practicality in a single recipe!


  • 100 grams of sugar

  • 1 cup and 1/2 (tea) of mimoso cornmeal

  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine

  • Water to moisten the cornmeal

Preparation mode

  • Melt the butter or margarine in a pan, add the cornmeal and mix.
  • Add water little by little to moisten the cornmeal and continue mixing for another 5 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat, cover the pan and wait 5 minutes.
  • Add the sugar, mix well to homogenize and the sweaty cornmeal is ready.
