  • 1 cup of wheat flour

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 1/2 cup of water

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (or vegetable oil)

  • A bit of salt

Preparation mode

  • In a large bowl, mix the wheat flour and salt.
  • Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add the eggs.
  • Start mixing the eggs into the flour.
  • Gradually add milk and water while continuing to mix until smooth.
  • Add the melted butter (or oil) and mix well until completely incorporated.
  • If the batter is too thick, you can add a little more milk or water to reach the desired consistency. Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes before using.
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Lightly grease the pan with a little butter or oil.
  • Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the heated skillet and tilt the skillet to spread the batter evenly.
  • Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edge starts to turn golden and comes away easily from the pan.
  • Flip the crepe carefully with a spatula and cook on the other side for another 1-2 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • Repeat the process with the rest of the dough.
  • Serve the crepes with the accompaniments of your choice, such as Nutella, fresh fruit, cheese, ham, etc.
