Check the ingredients needed to prepare your corn flake cake and follow the instructions.


  • 2 cups of corn flakes

  • 2 cups green corn (can be canned, but fresh corn is better)

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • A bit of salt

Preparation mode

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin.
  • In a blender, place the green corn (drained, if canned), the milk, sugar, oil, eggs and a pinch of salt. Beat well until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  • In a large bowl, pour the corn flakes and add the blender mixture. Stir well until the ingredients are completely incorporated.
  • Add the baking powder and mix again.
  • Pour the dough into the greased pan and place in the preheated oven.
  • Bake for approximately 40-45 minutes, or until the cake is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool before unmolding.
