Ingredients

1 liter of milk

1 cup cornstarch

1 can of condensed milk

1 glass of coconut milk (200ml)

1 cup grated coconut (optional)

Sugar to taste (for the syrup)
Preparation mode
- In a pan, dissolve the cornstarch in a little milk to avoid lumps.
- Add the rest of the milk, condensed milk and coconut milk.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens. This may take around 10 to 15 minutes.
- If you want, add grated coconut to the mixture and mix well.
- While the delicacy is on the fire, prepare the syrup. In a pan, melt sugar until it turns golden, and then add a little hot water, stirring until it forms a syrup.
- Pour the syrup into a pudding mold or individual pots.
- Pour the manjar mixture over the syrup in the mold.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until completely firm.
- Unmold and serve!
