  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1/2 cup of oil

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 cooked and shredded chicken breast

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 1 chopped tomato

  • 1/2 cup green corn

  • 1/2 cup peas

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Parsley and chives to taste

Preparation mode

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a frying pan, sauté the onion and garlic in a little oil until soft. Add the chopped tomato and sauté for a few more minutes.
  • Add the shredded chicken to the skillet and season with salt, pepper, parsley and chives to taste. Cook for a few more minutes and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, milk, oil and eggs. Beat well until you obtain a homogeneous mass.
  • Add the braised chicken to the dough and mix well.
  • Add the green corn and peas to the dough and mix gently.
  • Pour the dough into a greased and floured pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40-45 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let it cool a little before unmolding.
  • Serve the savory chicken cake hot or at room temperature.
