Ripple’s billion dollar agreement was claimed to be a hidden importance! Here are the potential effects

Dominic Kwok, the founding partner of Easya, the Web3 training platform, described Ripple’s acquisition of Hidden Road, the primary mediation company, one of the most important agreements in the history of crypto.

Speaking from the Paris Blockchain Week, where the news first broke out, Kwok said the agreement has a transformative potential for Ripple, XRP Ledger and wider digital asset ecosystem.

Kwok said in a statement in X, “I followed tons of agreements in the crypto field, but it is undoubtedly one of the most important to buy Ripple Hidden Road,” he added: “This is the first crypto company to have a global, very wealthy main intermediary.”

According to KWOK, this acquisition, which is a value of 1.25 billion dollars, allows Ripple to offer full service trade and exchange solutions to Ripple’s Wall Street’s leading financial institutions. Hidden Road, which trades over $ 3 trillion annually and serves more than 300 corporate customers, will now become a central pillar of Ripple’s effort to bring institutional services to the crypto world.

“Hidden Road is doing more than $ 10 billion in any day and doing more than 50 million transactions on traditional financial rails. Now, this will work on the XRP Ledger,” he added.

According to Kwok, one of the most important benefits of purchasing is that Hidden Road’s operations are integrated into Ripple’s ecosystem. While all transactions on Hidden Road are moved to XRP Ledger, Ripple’s local stablecoin Rlusd will be used as a collateral in the company’s intermediary services.

According to Kwok, this is expected to significantly increase the institutional adoption of both XRP Ledger and Rlusd in the real world, and to strengthen Ripple’s position as a leading infrastructure provider in the field of digital finance.
