Make a paçoca cake using the ingredients below, following the preparation instructions.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 10 crumbled paçocas (approximately 200g)

  • Whole paçocas to decorate (optional)

Preparation mode

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and flour a cake pan.
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the oil and milk to the egg and sugar mixture, and mix well.
  • Sift the wheat flour and baking powder over the liquid mixture, and mix gently until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  • Add the crumbled paçocas to the dough and mix until they are well distributed.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for around 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before unmolding.
  • If desired, decorate the cake with whole paçocas before serving.
