  • 4 tablespoons of wheat flour

  • 4 tablespoons of sugar

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (or chocolate powder)

  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder

  • A bit of salt

  • 3 tablespoons of milk

  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Preparation mode

  • In a large microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
  • Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla (if using) to the dry mixture in the mug. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  • Place the mug in the microwave and cook on full power for 1-2 minutes. The time may vary depending on the power of your microwave. Start with 1 minute and check every 15 seconds until the cake is cooked. The center should be firm but still moist.
