Ingredients

500g ground meat (can be beef, pork or mixed)

1 small onion, chopped

2 cloves of minced garlic

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 ovo

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional seasonings (such as parsley, chives, oregano, etc.)

Slices of cheese and ham (optional, for the filling)

Olive oil or oil for greasing
Preparation mode
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg and seasonings.
- Mix well until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Place the meat mixture on top of a piece of aluminum foil greased with olive oil or cooking oil.
- Spread the meat in an even layer, forming a rectangle.
- If you are using cheese and ham as a filling, place the cheese and ham slices over the meat, leaving a border of about 1cm on all sides.
- Carefully, using the foil to help, roll the meat into a Swiss roll shape. Make sure to roll it tightly so that the filling is in the center.
- Place the roulade on a baking sheet greased with olive oil or cooking spray. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through on the inside and golden brown on the outside.
- Remove the roll from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before cutting into slices. Serve hot with your favorite sauce and side dishes of your choice, such as rice, mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
