Check out the step-by-step instructions for preparing your meat lasagna to be delicious! Use the mentioned ingredients:


  • 500g lasagna pasta (pre-cooked, if preferred)

  • 500g ground meat (can be beef, pork, chicken, or a mix)

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped

  • 800g tomato sauce

  • 250g mozzarella cheese, grated

  • 250g parmesan cheese, grated

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Oregano to taste

  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Preparation mode

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and chopped garlic, sautéing until they are soft and golden.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until fully cooked and browned. Season with salt, pepper and oregano to taste.
  • Add the tomato sauce to the pan with the meat, mix well and cook for a few minutes over low heat, so the flavors combine.
  • In a large serving dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom. Place a layer of lasagna dough on top.
  • Cover the pasta with another layer of meat sauce and then sprinkle a generous portion of mozzarella cheese and grated parmesan on top.
  • Repeat the layers, alternating between pasta, meat sauce and cheese, until all ingredients are used. Make sure to finish with a layer of cheese on top.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place in the preheated oven for around 30-40 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let the lasagna rest for a few minutes before cutting and serving. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.
