Ingredients

500g medium shrimp, cleaned and peeled

Juice of 1 lemon

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 cloves of garlic, chopped

2 tablespoons of butter

1 medium onion chopped

1 cup of rice
-
2 cups of hot water
-
1 can of cream (without whey)

1 cup of cream cheese
-
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
-
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
-
1 tablespoon of ketchup
-
1 teaspoon mustard
-
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
-
1/4 cup chopped green chilli
Preparation mode
- Season the shrimp with lemon juice, salt, black pepper and chopped garlic. Leave to marinate for about 15 minutes.
- In a pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and sauté the shrimp until they turn pink. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In the same pan, add another tablespoon of butter and sauté the onion until transparent.
- Add the rice and sauté for a few minutes. Then, add the hot water, season with salt to taste and cook until the rice is tender. Book.
- In a bowl, mix the cream, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well until you obtain a homogeneous cream.
- In a greased dish, spread the cooked rice on the bottom.
- Spread the sautéed shrimp on top.
- Pour the cream over the shrimp and rice, covering the entire surface well.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for around 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the green chilli on top before serving.
