  • 1 Italian bread (baguette or other bread of your choice)

  • 100g softened butter

  • 4 cloves of minced garlic

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Preparation mode

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Cut the Italian bread into slices without separating the slices completely, leaving the base intact so that the bread stays together.
  • In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt and black pepper.
  • Using a spoon or spatula, generously spread the butter and garlic mixture between the slices of bread.
  • If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of the bread.
  • Wrap the bread in foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is hot and the butter is melted.
  • If you prefer a crispier garlic bread, remove the foil in the last 5 minutes of baking.
  • Remove the bread from the oven and serve warm. It can be served with sauces or simply enjoyed on its own.
