Ingredients

1 Italian bread (baguette or other bread of your choice)

100g softened butter

4 cloves of minced garlic

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

Grated parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation mode
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Cut the Italian bread into slices without separating the slices completely, leaving the base intact so that the bread stays together.
- In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt and black pepper.
- Using a spoon or spatula, generously spread the butter and garlic mixture between the slices of bread.
- If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of the bread.
- Wrap the bread in foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is hot and the butter is melted.
- If you prefer a crispier garlic bread, remove the foil in the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Remove the bread from the oven and serve warm. It can be served with sauces or simply enjoyed on its own.
