A service platform of the Emperor Qinshihuang Mausoleum Museum was officially launched this week, allowing foreign tourists to purchase tickets online.

The platform offers services in 24 languages, and tourists from 39 countries and regions can use 29 currencies to make reservations for visits. Since the start of the trial period on March 20, the platform has facilitated bookings for more than 2,000 foreign tourists.

Located in northwest China’s Shaanxi Province, the Emperor Qinshihuang Mausoleum Museum, home to the world-famous Terracotta Warriors, recorded more than 11.2 million visits last year, reaching an annual record.

Discovered in 1974, the Terracotta Warrior army was built by Emperor Qinshihuang of the Qin Dynasty (221 BC-207 BC), who first unified China.
