The 11th National Congress of Chinese Returnees and Their Relatives concluded in Beijing on Sunday. Cai Qi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, attended the closing session.

Ahead of the session, he met with overseas guests, representatives from Hong Kong and Macao, and outgoing leadership members and newly elected members of the National Federation of Chinese Returnees (NFCR).

The congress called on FNCR branches to bring together Chinese people returning from abroad, their relatives, and Chinese living abroad to contribute to China’s drive for modernization, national revitalization, and the development of a human community with a shared future.
