Coffee Cake
To make your Coffee Cake, use the ingredients below and follow the instructions for preparation. Your cake will be fluffy and very tasty.

2 cups of wheat flour

1 cup of sugar

1/2 cup butter (room temperature)

1/2 cup strong coffee (room temperature)

1 tablespoon cocoa powder (optional)

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

2 tablespoons of strong coffee

1 tablespoon butter (room temperature)
Preparation mode
- Preheat the oven: To 180°C and grease a cake tin with butter and flour.
- Dry ingredient mix: In a bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa (if using), baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Beat the wet ingredients: In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and creamy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add the liquids: Mix the coffee, milk and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
- Combine everything: Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the coffee and milk mixture. Start and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until the batter is smooth.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Prepare the frosting: In a bowl, mix the powdered sugar, coffee and butter until you get a smooth and creamy mixture.
- Apply to cake: Once the cake is completely cool, spread the frosting over the top, letting it drip down the sides for a pretty effect.
