São Paulo became the stage for a historic moment for the Brazilian automotive market last Thursday, when Zeekr, a Chinese manufacturer of premium electric vehicles, officially presented its first model to be sold in the country. The brand wants to offer an alternative to traditional models, with a bolder design and a more complete technological package.
The electric coupé, with sporty lines and generous dimensions, attracts attention with its bold design and power. Under the hood, two combined electric motors deliver 544 hp and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
The vehicle also has several driver assistance systems, such as adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency braking.
In addition to performance, the Zeekr 001 stands out for its luxurious and technological interior, with a large 15-inch central screen and a high-resolution digital instrument panel.
“Brazilians love design, performance, technology and sophistication and this is all that Zeekr will be able to deliver”, said Ronaldo Znidarsis, CEO of Zeeker in Brazil. “We will operate in a niche that is currently filled mainly by German luxury brands.”
