To China import Additional tariffs on certain US products from February 10announced the Tariff Committee of the State Council on Tuesday.
According to the official statement, the measure is aligned with the principles of international law and follows Chinese laws and regulations, including Tariffs, Foreign Trade and Customs.
Among the affected products, US coal and natural gas (LNG) will have a 15% increase in the import tariff. Already the gross oil, agricultural machines, large cylinder cars and pickups will be subject to an additional tariff of 10%. The detailed list of items covered is in the documents attached to the statement.
New rates will be applied to the already current rates, without changes in current policies of tax exemption or reduction. The decision occurs after the United States announced, in February 1an extra tariff of 10% about Chinese products.
