China will implement a draft technology system covering all major manufacturing industries by 2025, according to a guideline released this week.

The norm, which focuses on the construction and application of the technological innovation system for the manufacturing sector, was released by the Ministry of Industry and Informatization. The document is part of the country’s efforts to address technological problems and expand technological applications.

By 2027, a system will be established, which should guide companies to establish advanced research and development and supply chain management systems, providing an important basis for technological self-sufficiency and the strength of the manufacturing sector, according to the ministry.

In the next step, China will further develop and apply the manufacturing technology system, optimize the allocation of innovation resources, and promote new competitive advantages, the ministry said.
