  • 1 cooked and shredded chicken breast

  • 1/2 chopped onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon of ketchup

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Chopped parsley to taste

  • Olive oil (optional)

Preparation mode

  • Cook the chicken breast in salted water until completely cooked. Let cool and shred.
  • In a frying pan, heat some olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until they are golden. Add the shredded chicken and stir well.
  • In a bowl, mix the sautéed chicken with the mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, lemon juice, salt, pepper and chopped parsley. Make sure all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Taste the pâté and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavor to develop.
  • Serve the chicken pate with toast, bread, crackers or cut vegetables.
