Check out the instructions on how to prepare your chicken in sauce. See the ingredients used:


  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 large chopped onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup of cream

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon of honey

  • 1 lemon juice

  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Preparation mode

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side depending on the thickness of the chicken. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil if needed and sautĂ© the onion and garlic until soft and aromatic, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour the chicken broth into the skillet and scrape the bottom to loosen any browned bits.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low and stir cream, Dijon mustard, honey, and lemon juice into skillet. Cook for a few more minutes until the sauce starts to thicken.
  • Add the chicken breasts back to the skillet, covering them with the sauce, and heat for a few more minutes.
  • Before serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley, if desired.
  • Serve the chicken in hot sauce accompanied by rice, mashed potatoes or cooked vegetables, depending on your preference.
