Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 large chopped onion

2 cloves of garlic, chopped

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup of cream
-
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon of honey
-
1 lemon juice

Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Preparation mode
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side depending on the thickness of the chicken. Remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil if needed and sauté the onion and garlic until soft and aromatic, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour the chicken broth into the skillet and scrape the bottom to loosen any browned bits.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and stir cream, Dijon mustard, honey, and lemon juice into skillet. Cook for a few more minutes until the sauce starts to thicken.
- Add the chicken breasts back to the skillet, covering them with the sauce, and heat for a few more minutes.
- Before serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley, if desired.
- Serve the chicken in hot sauce accompanied by rice, mashed potatoes or cooked vegetables, depending on your preference.
