The third session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese Political Advisory Conference (CCPPC) was closed on Monday morning at the Great People’s Palace in Beijing, with the presence of President Xi Jinping and other leaders.
During the meeting, resolutions were approved on the CCPPC Permanent Committee’s work report, the treatment of proposals presented since the last session, the analysis of new suggestions and a political resolution on this year’s session.
The meeting featured a speech by Wang Huning, chairman of the CCPPC National Committee, reinforcing the role of the organ as an essential platform for political consultation and formulation of strategic guidelines for the country.
