  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup vegetable oil

  • 2 cups of sugar

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Preparation mode

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a round pan with butter and wheat flour.
  • Peel and cut the carrots into small pieces. Then, blend in a blender along with the eggs and oil until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  • In a large bowl, mix the sugar, wheat flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Pour the liquid mixture from the blender into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix well until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  • Transfer the dough to the previously greased pan and place in the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • While the cake bakes, prepare the chocolate frosting. In a pan, melt the butter over low heat, add the chocolate powder, milk and sugar. Mix well until you get a creamy consistency. Turn off the heat and set aside.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before unmolding. Then, unmold the cake and place it on a serving plate.
  • Pour the chocolate frosting over the cake, spreading it evenly.
  • Wait a few minutes for the chocolate frosting to harden a little before cutting and serving the fluffy carrot cake.
