The best thing about this caramelized coconut cake is that it comes out of the oven with the topping!
Dough Ingredients

3 eggs

1 cup and 1/2 (tea) of wheat flour

1 cup and 1/2 (tea) sugar

1 bottle of 200ml coconut milk

1 tablespoon of chemical yeast

1/2 cup (tea) of oil

1 package of 100 grams of coconut flakes

1/2 cup (tea) of water
Preparation mode
- To make the syrup, place the sugar in a pan and stir occasionally over low heat until it melts. Add the water and stir for another 1 minute.
- Pour the syrup into a mold with a central hole and spread it over the entire bottom and sides. Then add the coconut flakes and set aside.
- In a bowl place the eggs, sugar and oil. Stir well, add the coconut milk, wheat flour and stir until the dough is smooth.
- Add the baking powder and mix gently. Then pour the dough over the mold with the caramelized syrup.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for around 50 minutes. Unmold while still hot and the caramelized coconut cake is ready.
