  • 1 can of drained green corn (approximately 200g)

  • 1 can of milk (use the corn can as a measure)

  • 1 can of oil (use the can of corn as a measure)

  • 3 eggs

  • 2 cups of sugar

  • 2 cups of cornmeal

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Preparation mode

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a cake pan with margarine and sprinkle with cornmeal.
  • In the blender, place the drained corn, milk, oil and eggs. Beat well until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  • In a bowl, mix the cornmeal and sugar. Add the blender mixture little by little, mixing well to avoid the formation of lumps.
  • Lastly, add the baking powder and mix gently.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool before unmolding.
