For your baked potato to be perfect, you will need to use the ingredients below and follow the step-by-step preparation instructions:

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon fresh or dried rosemary (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon fresh or dried thyme (optional)

  • Grated parmesan cheese to taste (optional)

  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Preparation mode

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Wash the potatoes well and cut them into cubes or slices, keeping the skin on if you prefer.
  • In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and herbs (rosemary and thyme, if using).
  • Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes or until the potatoes are golden and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Turn the potatoes halfway through to ensure even browning.
  • If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the potatoes in the last 5 minutes of baking so that it melts and forms a crispy crust.
  • Remove from the oven and decorate with chopped parsley before serving.
