Ingredients
-
3 eggs
-
2 cups of sugar tea
-
4 cups of milk tea
-
2 tablespoons of butter (melted)
-
1 and 1/2 cup of cornmeal
-
1/2 cup of wheat flour
-
1 tablespoon of baking powder
-
50g of grated cheese (optional, for an extra touch of flavor)
-
2 tablespoons of grated coconut (optional)
-
1 salt whistle
Preparation mode
- Preheat the oven at 180 ° C and grease a shape with butter and flour.
- In a blender, beat eggs, sugar, milk and butter until smooth.
- Add the cornmeal, wheat flour and pinch of salt, and beat again until you incorporate all ingredients.
- If desired, add the grated cheese and the grated coconut to give more flavor.
- Lastly, add the baking powder and mix gently with a spoon or spatula.
- Pour the dough into greased form. The pasta will be liquid, but this is normal as the cake will firm and create the creamy layer during cooking.
- Bake for about 40 to 50 minutes, or until the top is golden and firm. The center will still be slightly creamy.
- Remove from oven, wait for it to cool and serve.
