Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, CEO of ACMobility and co-CEO of AC Industrials, cemented Ayala Group’s partnership with Bosch Philippines during the Philippine-German Business Forum held in Berlin last week.
AC Industrials and Bosch Philippines signed a Memorandum of Understanding that aims to explore new business opportunities for the mutual benefit of both parties and the development of the Philippine market. AC Industrials and Bosch Philippines intend to explore potential business activities in various sectors such as mobility solutions, manufacturing, energy and healthcare, among others.
The signing was witnessed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. In the panel discussion after the signing, Zobel highlighted Bosch’s support for ACMobility’s goal of building the Philippines’ first and largest electric vehicle platform.

«We are very happy to expand our synergies with Bosch. “As we see the EV transformation taking place in the country, we are excited to explore more ways to continue working with our partners, as well as sharing expertise and innovative practices,” he said.
Vijay Ratnaparkhe, Regional President of Bosch Southeast Asia, said in a statement: “Bosch collaborates with strong Filipino key partners like Ayala. “We try to contribute to the success of our partners.”

Last year, ACMobility, Ayala’s mobility division, signed a strategic agreement with Bosch to incorporate integrated vehicle technology into its aftermarket operations. Bosch Car Service will offer mechanical repairs of intricate electronic systems, engine systems, safety devices, comfort upgrades, transmission expertise and many other services and diagnostics.
This year, ACMobility and Bosch plan to open 20 new points of sale in the country, which will expand to 60 in the next five years.
