The Tokyo stock exchange closed this Monday on a high, with the main index, the Nikkei, rising 2.67% to 39,740.44 points.
The second indicator, Topix, rose 1.92% to 2,721.99 points at the end of the session.
The Nikkei index reflects the unweighted average of the 225 main stocks on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, while the Topix indicator groups together the values of the 1,600 largest listed companies.
