Ingredients

2 cups corn flakes (pre-cooked corn flour)

1 cup of sugar

3 eggs

1 cup of milk

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)

A bit of salt
Preparation mode
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin.
- In a large bowl, mix the corn flakes and sugar.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk, oil and vanilla essence (if using). Mix well.
- Pour the liquid mixture into the bowl with the corn flakes and sugar. Stir until you obtain a homogeneous mass. Add a pinch of salt.
- Lastly, add the baking powder and mix gently.
- Pour the dough into the greased pan.
- Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool before unmolding.
