Follow the instructions below to make your traditional pavé, using the following ingredients to make your traditional pavé delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 can of condensed milk

  • 2 cans of milk (use the can of condensed milk as a measure)

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 3 excited

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • 1 can of cream

  • 200 g semi-sweet or milk chocolate (according to preference)

  • 2 packages of cornstarch biscuits

  • 1 cup milk (to wet the cookies)

  • Chocolate sprinkles or chocolate shavings for decoration

Preparation mode

  • In a pan, mix the condensed milk, milk, cornstarch and sifted egg yolks.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
  • When it reaches a firm consistency, remove from the heat and add the vanilla essence. Set aside and let it cool.
  • Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave (be careful not to burn it).
  • Mix the cream with the melted chocolate until you get a homogeneous cream. Book.
  • Quickly soak the cornstarch cookies in the milk.
  • In a baking dish, make a layer of cookies at the bottom.
  • Cover the cookies with a layer of white cream.
  • Make another layer of cookies dipped in milk.
  • Cover with chocolate cream.
  • Repeat the layers until you run out of ingredients, finishing with the chocolate cream.
  • Decorate the last layer with chocolate sprinkles or chocolate shavings.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving, so that the pavé is very firm and cold.
