“The Governance of China – Volume IV”, a masterful work by Xi Jinping on socialism in China

Since June 2023, the Brazilian public has been treated to a well-curated edition of the fourth volume of “Xi Jinping: The Governance of China”, by Edições in Foreign Languages ​​of the People’s Republic of China. The volume contains a compilation of 109 important writings by Xi Jinping dated February 3, 2020 to May 10, 2022, and includes 45 photographs taken since January 2020. The book is dividedo in 21 chapters by topic, with the texts of each chapter compiled in chronological order. The book addresses complex themes of a political, ideological and historical nature, with depth and clear, accessible language. It is another masterful work by Leader chines.

Volume IV of “The Governance of China” is an exquisite record of the political line of the Communist Party of China and its Central Committee with its General Secretary Xi Jinping at its core. Another fundamental text from volume IV of “The Governance of China” on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era is entitled “The way forward in the new era” and foundon page 43 of the Portuguese edition, which reproduces the main points of Xi’s remarks at the deliberation panel with the Inner Mongolia delegation during the 5th session of the 13th National People’s Congress: “First, maintain the general leadership of the Party is the only way to advance socialism with Chinese characteristics.” Further on, the Chinese Leader highlights: “Secondly, socialism with Chinese characteristics is the only path to the revitalization of the Chinese nation.
