A new survey by Techflow targeting Chinese-speaking cryptocurrency users highlights the continued dominance of Binance and OKX among centralized exchanges. According to the survey, Binance maintains its clear lead in multiple categories and is consolidating its influence in the market.
In the ranking of frequently used exchanges, Binance, OKX, Gate, Bitget, Bybit, and HTX took the top six spots, with Binance and OKX showing significant superiority. Notably, 96.72% of respondents identified Binance as their most frequently used centralized exchange. Binance also ranked first in categories such as the largest cryptocurrency asset, the most profitable exchange, and the best platform for participating in new listings, with a market share of over 60% in these areas.
The survey revealed that 87% of respondents primarily rely on Twitter for cryptocurrency-related news and updates. Among venture capital firms, a16z, Paradigm, and Binance Labs emerged as the most recognizable names.
Surprisingly, 69.61% of the respondents stated that regulatory activities did not significantly impact their stock market choices.
When asked about crypto idols, respondents most often mentioned names like Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto, Ethereum’s Vitalik Buterin, SpaceX’s Elon Musk, and Binance’s Changpeng Zhao (CZ).
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, BNB ve PEPE, These were the cryptocurrencies most mentioned by Chinese users who participated in the survey.
