“There is a good thing about the DOGE/TRUMP ETF application, they are applications filed under the 1940 Act and therefore can be launched in early April (75 days after application).
At this point these ETFs can surpass XRP, Solana, Litecoin ETFs because they have to file 19b-4s with a 240 day period. But the SEC’s response to these ETFs is a big unknown.”
Another Bloomberg ETF analyst, James Seyffart, stated that the ETF application was made in accordance with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and said, “These products, which were applied for in accordance with the 1940 Act, followed the path of crypto futures ETFs. “This sounds like a playbook that issuers in the commodity ETF world use to avoid K-1, but I don’t know.” he said.
KoinBX CEO’su Saravanan Pandian DOGE Stating that he sees tremendous potential in memecoin ETFs such as “I think a Dogecoin ETF could come sooner than expected if the regulatory environment aligns. “And we could see this becoming official as early as April, which could create new opportunities in the digital asset space.” he said.
