Firedancer will run for 42 days, from July 10 to August 21, 2024.
According to the Firedancer program, Solana developers will have the chance to win up to $1 million by finding bugs in the “Firedancer” standalone validator client, which will be available starting Wednesday.
“A $1,000,000 USD bounty is available for anyone who finds bugs in Firedancer v0.1, a new validator client for Solana.
Firedancer v0.1 will respond to all bug reports within 24 hours.
Once the program concludes, Immunefi will publish an event-specific leaderboard and bug reports from the event.
A few days after launch, Firedancer v0.1 will be giving a live technical demo on the Immunefi Discord.”
Co-founder and CEO of Solana Labs Anatoly Yakovenko also previously said that Firedancer could increase the speed of the Solana network.
It is down 36% from its peak price of $210 in March 2024. Solana It continues to trade at $133 at the time of writing.
