The three astronauts aboard the Chinese Sail Shenzhou-20 entered the Tiangong space station at dawn on Friday (26) and met with the Shenzhou-19 crew, the China’s manned space agency (CMSA) said.
The meeting marks the sixth of Chinese aerospace history and opens a new round of crew transfer. The six astronauts will work and live together for about five days, when they will conclude routine tasks and perform the delivery process.
The Shenzhou-19 crew is scheduled to return to Earth on April 29.
